Weight Watchers “Freestyle”

ww

Project Goal:

Weight Watchers recently launched a new program called “Freestyle”. The campaigns goal was to find a way to show Weight Watcher members the new program in a new and exciting way.

Audience:

The Target audience includes current Weight Watcher members, Weight Watcher ambassadors, and perspective new Weight Watcher members.

Process:

In order to launch the Weight Watchers “Freestyle” program, there were a series of events put on by Weight Watcher ambassadors. The Ambassadors were tasked with throwing fiesta parties, in honor of Oprah Winfrey’s favorite recipe, Weight Watcher tacos. Ambassadors were then sent a box filled with different goodies, decorations and recipes to be cooked for their friends and party guests. Another event put on in honor of the “Freestyle” Launch was the “Ask Us Anything” and “OMG That’s Freestyle” live streams. The “Ask Us Anything” was a live stream completed by two ambassadors together where their followers could ask  them any and all questions about Weight Watchers and the new program. The “OMG That’s Freestyle” challenge, also completed over livestream was an activity for the ambassadors to post different recipes and different ways “Freestyle” makes their lives easier. It was a really fun and engaging activity that allowed the Weight Watchers online community communicate and connect with each other over social media.

The below social icons were created to be shared on Facebook by Weight Watcher ambassadors before their Live Stream event. I chose to use theWeight Watcher water color bubbles to share the ambassadors information, that way they could be easily found. Each ambassador then individually uploaded their own photo to keep a unified theme.

Below are the posts created to be posted on social media to notify the online community know that they would be putting on a series of events throughout the launch of the new program. I used the water colored bubbles as the background of the post to connect the new program to the image of Weight Watchers and the many years of success it stands for.

These posts were created to be shared on social media by Weight Watchers. This notified all members of the “Ask Us Anything” and “OMG That’s Freestyle” Challenge. I decided to use the water color bubbles as frame around the post. This unified all the social media assets creating a sense of personality for the “Freestyle” program.
